Nainggolan said that he received offers from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas when he was playing for Roma, "One day when I was on vacation, I got a call from an agent. He told me that there were offers from Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas. I didn't understand what was happening, my agent didn't understand the situation either."

Saying that he rejected the offers, the Belgian player concluded his sentences with the following words:
