Before today's UEFA Champions League match between Paris Saint Germain and Athletic Bilbao, the plane carrying the French team made a difficult landing in Bilbao.

The Paris team took off from Paris yesterday at 11.15 local time and landed in Bilbao at 12.30.

However, the Boeing 737-type plane carrying the PSG cavalcade had to maneuver before landing. The pilot tilted the plane on landing due to a strong wind, then corrected the course for landing.

Spanish media reports said officials had warned PSG in advance of the poor landing conditions they would face due to the wind in the Basque capital.

It was reported that the players and other technical and executive staff on the plane were worried during the landing, but the team arrived in Bilbao without any problems.
