Arda Guler said about Alonso before the match: "Since Xabi Alonso came, i feel more important because he talks to me all the time. He sees me as a midfielder and this is better for me."
When asked if he was thinking of leaving the team, Arda said, "I'm not thinking of leaving for the moment, but of course, if i don't play, i will think about everything. For now, i am completely focused on Real Madrid."
