The Timberwolves hosted the Suns at Target Center in a game between two teams fighting for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Mark Williams scored 22 points, Collin Gillespie 19 and Dillon Brooks 18 to lead the Suns to their 14th win.

Anthony Edwards' 40 points and Julius Randle's 21 for the Timberwolves, whose five-game winning streak came to an end, couldn't prevent their ninth loss of the season.

Indiana Pacers defeated Sacramento Kings 116-105 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Andrew Nembhard had 28 points, 12 assists, Bennedict Mathurin 25 points and Pascal Siakam 23 points for the hosts in their 6th win.

Russell Westbrook had a triple-double performance with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists for the Kings, who suffered their 18th defeat this season. DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine scored 20 and 16 points, respectively.

SPURS WIN ON THE ROAD

The San Antonio Spurs beat the New Orleans Pelicans with a score of 135-132 at the Smoothie King Center.

Harrison Barnes and Dylan Harper scored 24 and 22 points, respectively, to help the Spurs to their 16th win of the season.

Rookie Derik Queen had a triple-double with 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Pelicans, who suffered their 22nd loss of the season.
