Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta discussed Declan Rice's injury status following Arsenal's victory and called for more rest between matches.
‘Rest is quite a positive word – we had to make some changes,’ he said. "We had a very tough week at every level. Three days later, we were asked to play one more game without a rest day. The issue is that we played a lot of minutes, but at the same time, we played on Wednesday night and have to play again on Saturday morning. We can play the minutes, but please give us a bit more time to recover and make things a bit easier for these players' well-being; that would be great."
