Gerrard said he dislikes the word “crisis” being used to describe the team, adding, "Every defeat, especially a defeat like this, brings us a little closer to a crisis. I don't like the word ‘crisis’ because what I mean by crisis is a situation where it takes a club a year to get back to the top. I don't think Liverpool is at that point."
Reminding everyone that there are still many valuable players on the team who have experienced championship success, the legend said, "Most of these players have won league championships. So the word ‘crisis’ is an exaggeration. But the current situation is not good enough. There can be no excuses at this club, everyone knows that. Gerrard clearly stated that Liverpool is going through serious difficulties: “This team is facing serious challenges. They are in a very bad situation, their confidence is at rock bottom, and they continue to struggle. They keep conceding goals and are playing completely open. If the manager cannot find a solution and stabilize the team, they will continue to play the same way.”
