Niko Kovac has renewed his contract with Dortmund
German 1st Football League (Bundesliga) team Borussia Dortmund has extended the contract of manager Niko Kovac until 2027.

In a statement released by the club, it was stated that the contract with the 53-year-old coach was extended until June 30, 2027. Making statements after the signing, Kovac stated that he will do his part to return Borussia Dortmund to its old days and said: "We have made great progress together in the last six months to return Borussia Dortmund to its old days on the pitch. We feel that the trust in us as coaches is high and we believe that together with the club and the fans we can achieve something special here. Our discussions over the last few weeks have reinforced my belief that we can build on our achievements to date and achieve long-term success at this club."
