The first question fired at Icardi was direct: “When are you getting married?”
The Argentine striker laughed and replied: “First I need to get divorced. The process has been ongoing since last year, and it will be finalized in March 2026.”

Pergolini pressed further, asking what Icardi planned to do after his divorce from Wanda Nara was completed. Icardi responded with a smile: “We will definitely celebrate.”

When asked whether he actually wanted to get married, Icardi answered openly: “After the divorce, we’ll start planning.”
China Suárez, visibly surprised by the clarity of his answer, replied: “But that’s a big step—we don’t usually talk about this.”

Icardi also took a moment to speak about his journey with Galatasaray:
“When I first came to Galatasaray, the club was going through a very difficult period. Thankfully, with the goals I scored and the team we built that season, we managed to turn things around. It was a very, very tough time for the club—economically and on the pitch. I was fortunate to help reverse that situation, and today the club is in a very strong position.”
