Bayern Munich leave Sacha Boey stunned: Former Galatasaray star faces harsh reality
Things have not gone as planned for former Galatasaray star Sacha Boey since his move to the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich’s latest decision is set to disappoint the French right-back, as uncertainty around his future grows.

Still unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season, Bayern Munich continue to reshape their squad planning for the winter transfer window and the upcoming campaign. Despite initially deciding to keep Boey during the summer window, the German giants have now reportedly changed course.

According to BILD, Bayern Munich are prepared to listen to offers for Boey in January. The club is open to letting the French defender leave should a suitable bid arrive.
The decision is raising eyebrows because Bayern are not planning any reinforcements during the winter window. The club believes that injured players returning to full fitness will be enough to strengthen the squad. Despite no transfer plans, the club’s stance on Boey remains surprisingly firm.
Reports highlight that Boey’s playing time has significantly decreased following the increase in alternatives available to head coach Vincent Kompany. Additionally, Tom Bischof—signed from Hoffenheim and capable of playing on both flanks—has further reduced Boey’s chances of regular minutes.

It was also noted that Juventus showed interest in Boey last summer and Bayern were willing to sell him at the time. Whether the Italian club will return with a new offer remains unclear, and there has been no concrete move from Galatasaray either.
Sacha Boey has made 14 appearances for Bayern Munich this season, recording one assist. The French right-back joined Bayern during the 2023/24 January transfer window after an impressive spell at Galatasaray.
