MOURINHO AND MOBBING

Currently playing alongside Hakan Çalhanoğlu at Inter since 2022, Mkhitaryan shared details of his tense relationship with Mourinho in his autobiography. The 36-year-old midfielder accused the Portuguese manager of mobbing him and recounted the following:

Mkhitaryan noted that the messages became more frequent over time: “Every night, he’d write, ‘Miki, just leave.’ It became unbearable. I kept copying and sending the same reply: ‘If I’m leaving, I need to find the right team; otherwise, I’ll wait until the summer.’”
