"The tragicomic part of the video is that the foul was called on Sloukas and the opponent came to the line for two free throws. And yes, this is not a joke."
'A first in world history'
Ataman, who argued that Olympiacos star Sasha Vezenkov fouled TJ Shorts in a rebounding struggle in the second position he shared, said, "We also witnessed the invention of a new sport on the basketball court; the invention of Greco-Roman wrestling. A first in world history."
Vezenkov was the architect of the win with 22 points for hosts Olympiacos, who are 2 for 2 in the league. TJ Shorts' 19 points couldn't prevent the defeat for the guests, who have one win and one loss each.
