The Spanish manager, who won the FA Cup shortly after taking charge in 2019 but hasn't lifted a major trophy since, made some honest comments.

Speaking about his future with 18 months left on his contract, Arteta said : "I can imagine myself here beyond 2027, but for that you have to earn the right every day. The players have to follow you and you have to win matches. Otherwise you cannot survive in this environment," he said.

Reminding that the team has broken many club records in recent years, Arteta added "Our performance level is unprecedented in the history of the Premier League. We haven't won any trophies yet but we are on the right track. Our goal is always to achieve the highest."
