VakıfBank misses the podium in the CEV Champions League: Vero Volley takes the bronze medal

In the CEV Champions League Final Four held in Istanbul, VakıfBank faced Italian side Vero Volley Milano in the bronze medal match and was defeated 3-1. With this result, VakıfBank finished the tournament in fourth place. After the match, Alessia Orro bid farewell to Milano. She will play for Fenerbahçe Medicana next season.
Our representative in the women’s CEV Champions League, VakıfBank, lost 3-1 to Italian team Vero Volley Milano and finished the competition in 4th place. The match ended with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18. With this result, Vero Volley Milano won the bronze medal, and for the first time in tournament history, all medals were won by teams from the same country.
