NEARLY 100 PERCENT INCREASE
The 29-year-old stopper, who earns 3.2 million euros, has conveyed through his agent that he expects a raise of close to 100%. Sanchez's representative demanded €6 million a year in guaranteed wages from Galatasaray.
The yellow-reds, on the other hand, offered 4.5 million euros per year with a 40 percent increase in the current contract. No agreement has been reached yet, but negotiations between the parties are ongoing. Knowing the importance of Davinson Sanchez for the team, the technical committee and the management will push all conditions to reach an agreement. Sanchez, who has a contract until 2027, has a +1 year option.
