The 36-year-old experienced net keeper officially said goodbye to the black-and-white team in a post on his social media account.
Thanking for the support, Mert Günok's statement is as follows:
"August 15, 2021. The first day I signed for Beşiktaş. Hundreds of trainings, dozens of matches, wins, losses, injuries, comebacks, chances, misfortunes... I have experienced every emotion a goalkeeper can experience. I have always done my best for Beşiktaş. I have played more than 100 matches in this jersey; not for a single moment have I ever stained the culture and history of this club.
