‘THEY STEAL AND THEY COMPLAIN’
Speaking on the official YouTube channel of the ‘King League’ football league, owned by former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique, Lamine Yamal said the following about Real Madrid:
‘Yes, they steal (referring to referee decisions) and they complain. In short, they do things...’
ALONSO'S EVASIVE RESPONSE
Speaking ahead of El Clasico, Alonso responded to a question about Yamal's comments:
"As I said, this is an important match with many factors at play. We want to play well, enjoy ourselves, and that's what excites us most. That's the biggest incentive. I won't comment. There are many statements coming from Barcelona, and I can't evaluate them all. What matters is the pitch. What lies ahead of us and how we want to play the game. We must be prepared because the answer is given on the pitch. I'm not thinking about anything else."
