Earlier this week, security officials banned the "Sodalizio" choreography, which represents one of the Milan ultra groups and also means "Unity" in Turkish.

The exact reason for the ban was not clear, but it was somehow linked to the "Doppia Curva" investigation that led to the conviction of 16 ultra members of Inter and Milan on suspicion of illegal activities inside and outside the stadium on behalf of mafia families.

The "Sodalizio" banner had been seen in previous home games against Napoli and Fiorentina, but security officials decided to ban it for the derby. Milan fans then circumvented the ban by recreating the same word using cell phone lights.
