The Mbappe-PSG chaos does not end! New chapter in the compensation war
A new chapter in the chaos that started when Kylian Mbappe left Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappe and PSG, who have been in dispute since the summer of 2024, were summoned to the Paris Labor Court on Monday, November 17. Mbappe is demanding 263 million Euros and PSG 440 million Euros in compensation.

PSG: MBAPPE BROKE HIS PROMISE
In the Paris Labor Court, PSG demanded 440 million euros from their former striker. Part of this amount was demanded as compensation for the transfer that did not take place after the Saudi club Al-Hilal made an offer of 300 million euros. PSG's lawyers argued that this offer, made in July 2023, was rejected by Real Madrid's current player, who broke his promise not to leave for free.
Renaud Semerdjian, one of the Paris club's seven lawyers, told AFP on leaving the hearing: "The amount we are demanding is 440 million euros. 20 million for the loss of image, 60 million for the bad faith non-fulfillment of an agreement dated August 2023, 180 million for the concealment of this agreement and 180 million for the loss of the opportunity to transfer the player," he elaborated.

Mbappe has demanded €55 million in unpaid bonuses and salaries. The European Golden Boot winner's lawyers have calculated that the Paris club should pay their client €263 million, including the conversion of his contract from fixed-term to indefinite and the psychological harassment the player claims to have suffered. The decision of the Labor Court will be announced in a few weeks.
