Quarshie, a Germany Under-20 international, made his Bundesliga debut at just 18 years old. While gaining most of his senior experience with Hoffenheim's second team, he also featured in 28 German second-tier appearances during loan spells with Fortuna Dusseldorf and this season Greuther Furth, providing him with valuable competitive minutes.
