Flagg, 18, became the youngest player in NBA history to score 35 points in a game, tying LeBron James' record. The US rookie joined LeBron James as the only other players in league history to score 30 or more points in a game before turning 19.

In addition to Flagg, Klay Thompson scored 23 points and Naji Marshall 18 for the Mavericks.

Kawhi Leonard scored 30 points and James Harden 29 for the Clippers, who suffered their 15th loss, their fourth in a row.
