Wednesday’s results ensured two of the biggest names in European football kept their league phase records pristine, moving them to a perfect nine points.

Bayern Münich 4-0 Club Brugge: The Bundesliga champions were dominant as they swept aside Club Brugge. The night was historic for 17-year-old Lennart Karl, who became Bayern's youngest-ever Champions League goalscorer with a brilliant curled finish.
