Real Madrid have taken a radical decision regarding their Brazilian star Rodrygo, whose performances this season have fallen well short of expectations.

The 24-year-old winger, who was indispensable under Carlo Ancelotti, has been relegated to the background with the arrival of new manager Xabi Alonso and is no longer a regular starter.

According to The Athletic, Real Madrid have lifted Rodrygo's long-standing "unsellable" status. The club has made him open to serious offers in the January or summer transfer window.

Rodrygo, who has made 15 league and Champions League appearances this season, has yet to score a goal and has only two assists to his name.
