Speaking after the match in Lyon, Rayan Cherki announced that he plans to leave the club this summer and said, “I am ready to start a new chapter in my career. I would like to thank my coach, the technical team, the president, my teammates and all the people at the club.”

The 21-year-old has made 44 appearances for Lyon this season, contributing 12 goals and 20 assists.
HAS A RELEASE CLAUSE
The 21-year-old star has a 22 million euro release clause in his contract. The French star, who grew up in Lyon's youth system and has long been followed by European giants, has a contract with his club until June 2026.
