According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Roberto Firmino has agreed to transfer to Qatar Stars League giants Al Sadd. The Brazilian star will leave after helping Al Ahli win the AFC Champions League title this summer. Firmino still has a year left on his current contract, but Al Ahli president Khaled Al-Ghamdi previously told Saudi media that they had reached an agreement with the 33-year-old that would allow him to leave the club after two years.

There were also Flamengo rumors

Doubts about Firmino's long-term future at Al Ahli began earlier this year. However, the player scored six goals and seven assists in continental competition, with two of those assists coming in the final against Kawasaki Frontale. Firmino was linked with a move back to his homeland this summer when reports emerged that Flamengo could make a move for him, but he has now decided to stay in the Middle East.
