Premier League tops the table: €3.6 billion spent on transfers
As the summer transfer window ended yesterday in the leading leagues of European football, Premier League teams set a new record with a total spending of 3.6 billion euros.

With €3.6 billion, the Premier League set the bar a little higher, followed by Serie A with €1.19 billion and Bundesliga teams with €851 million.
SUPER LEAGUE RANKED 7TH
LaLiga teams allocated 684 million euros for transfers, while Ligue 1 saw 662 million euros of activity. The Super League ranked 7th in the list of European leagues with €321 million.
In the total income and expenditure table, only two leagues closed the summer period with a surplus. The Bundesliga earned 1.03 billion euros and Ligue 1 earned 974 million euros, leaving this period without a deficit. Spending in transfers in Europe's top 5 leagues is as follows:

LVERPOOL SET A RECORD
