Diogo Jota’s wife, Rute Cardoso, shared a heartbreaking message honoring her late husband on their daughter’s first birthday.

Marking her daughter’s first birthday, Rute has now honoured Jota by posting a collection of photos of him with the little girl.
On Instagram, she simply wrote: “A whole year.” The opening photo featured her holding their daughter, with Jota beside them in coordinated pink outfits, and another image captured him cuddling the little girl.
She also posted a snapshot of Jota leaving the hospital with their newborn in his arms. Her post prompted an outpouring of encouragement and sympathy.
