Nicolo Zaniolo's comments on Turkey and Galatasaray! 'I feel more at peace now'

Nicolo Zaniolo, who was loaned to Udinese by Galatasaray at the start of the season, made statements about Turkey and the yellow-and-red team. The Italian star said, “I always felt they were by my side.”

LOANED OUT FOR THE 4TH TIME

Zaniolo, who transferred from Roma for €15 million during the 2022/2023 season, celebrated a championship with his team, but was loaned out to Aston Villa, Atalanta, and Fiorentina in subsequent years. Speaking to DAZN Italia, Zaniolo said, "I'm more at peace now. I've found a balance off the pitch. I used to seek perfection and overdo things. Now I've found a balance that calms me off the field. I have a wonderful family that helps me clear my head on the field. You go out there, you play well, you play badly, but if your son smiles at you, everything is forgotten. I shut myself off and dedicate myself to my family."

'I WANT TO BE THERE'

The Italian footballer, who said he wants to play in the 2026 World Cup, stated, “I dream of playing in the World Cup. Gattuso said the doors are open to everyone. I have to keep doing what I'm doing. I want to be there with Italy.”

'I WAS HAPPY IN TURKEY'

When asked, “Let's talk about Turkey, since we're discussing overseas experience; would you recommend it to a young person? Did it benefit you?”, Zaniolo replied:

"Yes, I would recommend it. I would always recommend it. I've been to Turkey and England. They are completely different cultures. Football is the common ground. The only language you can speak in Turkey is football. I couldn't speak Turkish, but football was our common ground. Yes, I enjoyed myself. I was happy in Turkey... Galatasaray fans are incredible. They are really passionate. I always felt they were by my side."
