NBA Cup semifinal pairings announced
The San Antonio Spurs eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers on the road, while the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Phoenix Suns at home to advance to the semifinals of the NBA Cup. San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder will face each other in the semifinals.
The excitement in the NBA Cup continued with two games in the quarterfinals. The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 132-119 on the road and advanced to the semifinals. Stephon Castle had a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds, De'Aaron Fox had 20 points and Keldon Johnson had 17 points for the Spurs. Luka Doncic scored 35 points, Marcus Smart 26 points and LeBron James 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Lakers.

Oklahoma beats Phoenix
The Oklahoma City Thunder also advanced to the semifinals after beating the Phoenix Suns 138-89 at home. Oklahoma was led by Shai Gilgeous Alexander with 28 points, Chet Holmgren with 24 points and Jalen Williams with 15 points. Dillon Brooks had 16 points, Jordan Goodwin 15 and Jamaree Bouyea 14 for the Suns.After these results, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder will play in the semifinals.
