What did Mohamed Salah say?
Salah has been a mainstay in Liverpool's attacking line since signing for the club in 2017 and has forged a strong friendship with Nunez off the pitch, despite their on-field differences. On Wednesday, August 13, the Egyptian posted an emotional tribute to Nunez on social media, saying: "I feel lucky to have you as a teammate and friend, you were always so real and brought a beautiful energy wherever you went. You made us laugh and showed your heart in everything you did. We will miss you and I wish you all the best for your new club."
