Stating that he turned down the opportunity to earn significant money from Saudi Arabia, Sarri said:
'I FOLLOW MY HEART'
"This year I had talks with a Saudi team, and there I would earn as much in a month as I did in a year at Lazio. But I said last year that I follow my heart, not my money.
– We are talking about a lot of money.
I'm not interested in that. I've always played football because of my passion, I wouldn't want to start doing it for money.
– Spalletti was offered 18 million euros a year, Al-Nassr did. What would you have done in his place?
The same thing I did: I wouldn’t have gone.
'IT DOESN'T MOTIVATE ME'
- Why? Don't they play football there?
I don't know. When I think about it, I don't feel an emotional response inside me, it doesn't motivate me. It would be hard for me to work there.
