Luka Doncic scores 42 points as Slovenia eliminates Italy in last 16

Slovenia built a 29-11 lead in the first quarter, led by 22 points from Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic. Slovenia led 50-40 at halftime.

Italy came back from 16 points in the last quarter to cut the deficit to 1, but Slovenia played better in the last quarter and won the game. Luka Doncic finished the game with 42 points and 10 rebounds.
