'A VERY LONG JOURNEY'
In his first interview, Lando Norris said:
"Oh, my God. I didn't think I was going to cry but I did, it's been a long journey. First of all I'd like to thank the McLaren team, my family, my mom, my dad. My mom and dad have been supporting me from the very beginning.
It's a tremendous feeling. I know how Max feels, congratulations to Max and Oscar, I'm proud to race with them, I've learned a lot from them, it's been a long year but I've done it.
It's hard not to think about it. In a long race, anything could happen. I pushed until the last two or three laps. Max and Oscar didn't make my life easy, the whole season.
When I passed Tsunoda, he knew what I was doing was right. It's not a moment that many people get to experience. I'm enjoying the moment."
