The Vildoza couple were driving down the road when they came across a stopped ambulance. The car, driven by Luca Vildoza, blocked the emergency vehicle and insulted the crew by flashing its headlights. The ambulance crew had paused to address an emergency call.
ATTACK ON 54-YEAR-OLD WOMAN
The argument soon turned violent, with Vildoza allegedly grabbing a 54-year-old female paramedic by the neck and assaulting her. Milica Vildoza was also accused of intervening and allegedly pulling and pushing the woman's hair. The paramedic was hospitalized after the incident but was discharged.
THEY WERE RELEASED
The police took immediate action upon the ambulance crew's call. The couple were stopped on the road and taken to the police station. The pair were arrested on charges of "assault on medical personnel". However, the court did not uphold the arrest; Vildoza was released this afternoon to travel with Virtus Bologna to Lyon in France. The club plans to issue an official statement on the incident.
