An interesting season!
Bajcetic's 2024/25 season has been marked by transitions. He began the campaign at RB Salzburg, having followed former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders to Austria. However, his playing time there was limited to 895 minutes across 19 appearances before Lijnders' reported departure. In January, he joined Las Palmas on loan, entering the demanding environment of a Spanish top-flight relegation battle. During his spell with Las Palmas, he made 14 appearances, scoring one goal, but ultimately could not help the team avoid the drop.
Looking ahead, the young midfielder is expected to focus on preparing for the next season. While there had been recent rumors linking him with another potential loan move, such as to Villareal, it appears increasingly likely that he will have the opportunity to compete for a place in the Liverpool squad when preseason training camp begins.
Bajcetic's emotional message underscores the disappointment surrounding Las Palmas' relegation, bringing a challenging loan spell to a close as he now prepares for the next step in his career back at Liverpool.
