LeBron James' three-pointer in the final minute of the game at Xfinity Mobile Arena gave the Lakers a 108-105 lead, and James scored his 10th consecutive point on the next possession to seal the victory.
Luka Doncic, who missed the last two games for personal reasons, had a triple double with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists, while LeBron James had 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Tyrese Maxey was the 76ers' leading scorer with 28 points, while Joel Embiid, who missed 17 of 21 shots, scored 16 points.
THUNDER WON EVEN WITHOUT THEIR STAR
Defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Utah Jazz 131-101 in a game in which star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander did not play due to a left elbow injury for their 15th straight win.

Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams each scored 25 points for the Thunder, who scored 27 points off 17 Jazz turnovers.
Kyle Filipkowski had 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Walter Clayton Jr. and Taylor Hendricks had 20 points each for the Jazz, who were without Lauri Markkanen due to illness.
KNICKS DON'T LOSE AT HOME
The New York Knicks defeated the Orlando Magic 106-100 to improve to 13 of 14 at home this season.
Jalen Brunson had 30 points, 9 assists, Ogugua Anunoby 21 points, 7 rebounds and Josh Hart had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Knicks, who started the third quarter on a 13-0 run and took control of the game.
Jalen Suggs scored 17 points, Desmond Bane and Paolo Banchero 16 each for the Magic, whose game plan was disrupted when their leading scorer Franz Wagner was injured in the first quarter.
