Fenerbahçe, which was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after losing 1-0 to Benfica, has officially parted ways with manager Jose Mourinho. Jose Mourinho, who left Turkey for his native Portugal, made a brief statement at the airport.

Asked by a journalist "Did you expect to part ways with Fenerbahce?" Jose Mourinho replied as follows:

"It was a nice trip. I slept on the way. Now I'm going home to have dinner with my family and then I'm going to watch the Sporting-Porto match. That's all I have to say.
