'There were players who weren't serious'

Mourinho said in an interview with RTP, "Our first half was poor. And that's what upsets me the most, your poor attitude. There were many players who weren't serious, who didn't approach things as they should have." The Portuguese coach also said, "I made four changes at half-time, but I would have liked to make nine. At half-time, I identified the players I could happily keep on. There were two who wanted to play. Matches must be taken seriously. The other nine didn't take it seriously."

When asked about the performance of 20-year-old Joao Rego, who started the match in the first 11, the Portuguese coach said, "He will stay here. I knew he wouldn't betray me. And I don't like players who betray me. Rego played a very positive and balanced game; he was one of the two players I wouldn't take off at half-time."
