Italian-American businessman Rocco Commisso, founder of Mediacom and president of Fiorentina since 2019, died at the age of 76 after a long period of treatment.

Rocco Commisso became the new owner of Fiorentina in 2019. He was known for his love and passion for football. Between 1967 and 1970, he played for the Columbia Lions and was a member of a freshman team that finished the season undefeated.
