Inter sends ultimatum to Hakan Çalhanoğlu: Find a club by July 31st or stay!
Inter Milan has delivered a firm ultimatum to Hakan Çalhanoğlu: his agent has until the end of July to secure a transfer offer for the Turkish international, or he will remain at San Siro for the 2025-26 season. Despite reported interest and a €10m-a-year offer from Galatasaray, Inter is holding out for a transfer fee of at least €25-30 million.

Inter Milan has set a strict deadline for Hakan Çalhanoğlu's potential departure, informing his agent, Gordon Stipic, that he has until July 31st to find a new club for the Turkish international. If no suitable offer materializes by that date, the midfielder will remain at San Siro for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, this ultimatum was communicated during a call between the club and Çalhanoğlu's agent on Tuesday. Inter's pre-season training is set to begin on July 26th, and the Serie A giants are keen to have the matter resolved before then.
Despite recent reports of a dispute between Çalhanoğlu and captain Lautaro Martinez, Inter appears prepared to retain the midfielder if a transfer doesn't materialize. Çalhanoğlu has reportedly received a lucrative €10 million-a-year contract offer from Galatasaray, indicating that there is interest in his services.

However, Gazzetta also reports that Çalhanoğlu has not yet directly communicated with Inter executives, nor has he formally submitted a transfer request through his agent. As previously reported by Football Italia last month, Inter is unwilling to sell Çalhanoğlu for a low transfer fee, aiming to secure at least €25-30 million from his departure. This firm stance suggests that interested clubs will need to meet Inter's valuation to pry the Turkish star away from Milan before the imposed deadline.
