According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, this ultimatum was communicated during a call between the club and Çalhanoğlu's agent on Tuesday. Inter's pre-season training is set to begin on July 26th, and the Serie A giants are keen to have the matter resolved before then.
Despite recent reports of a dispute between Çalhanoğlu and captain Lautaro Martinez, Inter appears prepared to retain the midfielder if a transfer doesn't materialize. Çalhanoğlu has reportedly received a lucrative €10 million-a-year contract offer from Galatasaray, indicating that there is interest in his services.

This firm stance suggests that interested clubs will need to meet Inter's valuation to pry the Turkish star away from Milan before the imposed deadline.
