"We lost, and since the start of the new year, many things have been going against us," Guardiola said. "I know how good of a team they are; they should not be underestimated. They reached the Europa League semi-finals last season, and that confidence is still fresh."
Guardiola noted that absences in the squad affected the performance: "We were missing key players in certain positions. We would have had more stability without these absences. Those on the pitch were a bit fragile, just like during a certain period last season. Despite that, I saw how they fought even when we were down to 10 men. Many players took responsibility. We struggled a bit, but Bodø/Glimt were truly very good. We congratulate them."

Stating that his team must recover before their final Champions League league-phase match against Galatasaray, Guardiola evaluated: "We play Wolves on Saturday, followed by Galatasaray. We need to change the dynamic before these matches. We were lackluster against United, but that wasn't the case today."
