The new address of Bayer Leverkusen star Granit Xhaka, one of the favorites of the transfer window, is becoming clearer.
According to Sky Sport DE, Xhaka's agent Jose Noguera announced that they have reached an agreement in principle with Sunderland for the transfer of the Swiss footballer.
'WE AGREED'
"We have reached an agreement in principle with Sunderland. Granit wants to return to the Premier League. Sunderland excites him; he wants to overcome this challenge. We hope that Leverkusen will respect his wish to leave and that the clubs will reach an agreement soon."
The Swiss international was often linked with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray during the transfer window. The 32-year-old, who has a market value of 12 million euros, has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2028.
