Amazon MGM Studios recently released the initial image from the film, which centers on the remarkable life and career of the legendary NFL coach and commentator, known not only for his time on the sidelines but also as the face of the wildly popular John Madden Football and Madden NFL video games.

The film delves into Madden's journey, highlighting his Super Bowl-winning partnership with Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders, his groundbreaking creation of the Madden NFL video game franchise, and his evolution into one of the "most iconic voices in football history" as a television commentator. The first image released features Cage as Madden and Bale as Davis standing together in a football stadium, both characters depicted wearing Super Bowl rings, offering an early look at their transformations into these significant figures.

John Madden, whose playing career was cut short by injury, became a highly successful coach for the Raiders, leading the team to 10 consecutive winning seasons and a Super Bowl XI title. He retired from coaching after the 1978 season as the youngest coach to reach 100 wins before transitioning to a long and celebrated career as a TV color commentator, becoming a major brand in the sport. Al Davis, who passed away in 2011, was the influential owner of the Raiders and a close friend of Madden.
