Galatasaray move in for Rayan Cherki!
Previously linked with both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, Rayan Cherki who recently announced he would be leaving Lyon has once again become a transfer target for Galatasaray.
21 years old attacking midfielder was frequently associated with Galatasaray during the winter transfer window, and Fenerbahçe also made persistent efforts to sign him during that period. Cherki recently declared his departure from Lyon.

CONTRACT EXPIRING
With his contract set to expire on June 30, Cherki stated: “It was my last match with Lyon, but I’m being cautious because I remember what I went through last summer. I’ll see where the wind takes me. I’m proud of what I’ve done at Lyon.”
GALATASARAY BACK IN THE RACE
With numerous suitors, including Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray are once again in the race for the young star. Cherki, whose family is of Algerian descent, received his first call-up to the France senior national team yesterday. His current market value is €35 million, but it is expected to rise to €50 million after playing for the national team.
HIGH SALARY TO BE OFFERED
Galatasaray are determined to use the lack of a transfer fee to their advantage. The Turkish giants will try to convince Cherki by offering a high annual salary and signing bonus. Unlike the previous attempt which was blocked by Lyon’s president, this time Galatasaray only need to convince the player.
