Former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has announced his return to the ring.

In a post on the US-based social media platform Instagram, Fury wrote, "2026 is the year. The return of Mac. I've been away for a while but now I'm back. I'm 37 years old and still punching. There's nothing better than punching guys in the face and getting paid for it."

In December 2024, the Great Briton, who lost to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk for the second time, announced his retirement from boxing a month after the defeat.
The 37-year-old boxer, a two-time heavyweight world champion, first won the title in 2015, defeating Wladimir Klitschko.
