Negotiations have begun
According to reports in the English press, English teams Burnley, Sunderland and Leeds United have started negotiations with Fenerbahçe for the Brazilian defender. The Yellow-Lacivertli team are keen to part ways with the experienced player, who has failed to deliver so far.
Fenerbahçe will only consider offers for Carlos, who was signed for €11.5 million with a compulsory option to buy, and are determined not to accept a fee below that figure.
A total of €58.77 million has been paid for Diego Carlos, who has played for Aston Villa, Nantes and Sevilla.
