After the game, Panathinaikos head coach Ergin Ataman criticized Anadolu Efes head coach Luca Banchi with harsh words.
Ataman accused Banchi of 'secretly videotaping his team's training sessions' and his words are as follows;
'I HATE IT'
"I would like to say this to my friend Banchi. I hate people who smile to my face and then act differently behind my back.
Luca, you can ask your players. I worked for Efes for five years, go and ask them, did I even one day videotape the practice of the visiting teams and let them watch it?
'GO ASK LARKIN!'
Before the game you practiced in Olympiacos gym instead of OAKA. What is the reason for that? Go and ask your players. Ask Larkin, ask Bryant. If you get a yes, I will stop coaching basketball the next day. Go and make your team practice tomorrow again in the Olympiacos gym. That's all I have to say."
