Eintracht Frankfurt wants to sign Szymanski! 15 million euros…

While Fenerbahçe continues its strong push in both the league and Europe, transfer activities for the winter window are already underway. Amid plans for new signings, a surprising development has emerged from the German press regarding Sebastian Szymanski, one of the star players expected to leave the club.

According to Frankfurter Rundschau (FR), Eintracht Frankfurt, who are looking to strengthen their midfield in the winter transfer window, have placed Fenerbahçe’s Sebastian Szymanski – considered surplus to requirements – on their shortlist. However, the report suggests that completing this transfer won’t be straightforward at the moment.

The report claims that Fenerbahçe are demanding a minimum of 15 million euros for their star midfielder. Eintracht Frankfurt see Szymanski as their primary target to add more variety and creativity to their midfield. The club could use part of the transfer income they received last summer to fund the move.

In addition to Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and Köln are also reportedly interested in Szymanski. A potential swap deal involving Christoph Baumgartner between Fenerbahçe and RB Leipzig has emerged as a particularly intriguing possibility. Such a deal could give Leipzig an advantage, though other Bundesliga clubs are also ready to enter the race for the Polish star.
