Brazil Technical Director Carlo Ancelotti announced the national team squad. In addition to Ederson, the goalkeeper of the Yellow-Navy team, Bento from Al Nassr and Hugo Souza from Corinthians were also included in the squad.
Brazil National Team's first goalkeeper Alison Becker was injured in the Champions League match in which Liverpool lost 1-0 to Galatasaray. It was announced that the experienced goalkeeper would be out of the field for 3 weeks.
