Martinez ready to leave Villa Park
Per journalist Gaston Edul, the Argentine custodian is all set to leave the Villans at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. He has offers from two top European clubs, while a Saudi Pro League side also want the goalkeeper. The 32-year-old, however, is likely to reject the Saudi offer to stay at the highest level in Europe to prepare for the 2026 World Cup in North America.

After the game, Villa boss Emery provided an update on the goalkeeper's future as he told reporters: "We will see. Of course, it is the last match here [this season], and I don't know. We will see about the team, the players, but of course, they are responding on the field."
