FARIOLI'S STATEMENT ON DENIZ
Porto coach Francesco Farioli made statements at the pre-match press conference. Farioli said of Deniz Gül: "I made myself clear when he was not a regular option for us or when the minutes he played were not enough. Deniz Gül is a player with incredible skills; physically strong, very fast, a good finisher, generous off the ball and intelligent. He has very good qualities. Now I think he has a different status in the team, he is a player we can rely on now."

Stating that there is competition in the team for the forward line, the 36-year-old coach said, "It's good to have him back and of course Luuk de Jong.
